About
I’m a wildlife filmmaker from Yorkshire with a background in Anthropology and a passion for stories that explore the relationship between people and the natural world. I discovered filmmaking during my degree and have since worked across documentary and television production, with a particular interest in human-wildlife conflict and conservation. I’m now completing an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE Bristol.

Experience
My strengths lie in storytelling and developing ideas, alongside strong camera and editing skills developed through my MA at UWE. After university, I travelled to Indonesia to make a film about cockfighting, gaining valuable experience working independently in the field. I have also worked on a large-scale reality TV series, as a runner for One8th Productions, and in Namibia on a rewilding project. These experiences have given me a practical understanding of both wildlife and television production, from developing a story to bringing it to life on screen.

The Right to Roam - UWE Final Project
Synopsis:

In the heart of the Italian Alps, a thriving population of reintroduced brown bears has divided local communities. Following a fatal attack and growing public anger, this film will investigate whether this is rewilding gone wrong or simply the cost of an authentic wild landscape.
This film is my final project for an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE Bristol. I have researched, produced, shot and edited the film myself, taking the project from its initial idea through to the final edit. The experience has given me invaluable hands-on experience across every stage of the filmmaking process and taught me a huge amount about developing a story, working in the field and shaping a film in the edit.

I’ve always loved travelling, and wherever I go, I take a camera with me. Photography has become a way for me to document the places, people and wildlife I encounter along the way, while continuing to develop my eye for composition and storytelling. It’s something I enjoy simply for the sake of it, and a natural extension of my filmmaking.
